    ADVANTAGES OF THE REST API

    As a platform-independent, standardized, expandable interface, the REST API enables data exchange across different software systems. This allows you to:

      Depending on your requirements, you can either read or write data records from other systems. For example, you can read, update or delete data in both directions and make processes more efficient.

    INTEGRATION GEDYS CRM-RELEASE 8.15 WITH PROALPHA ERP

    Extensive interface for synchronizing companies and contacts

    • The data integration widget has been extended to be able to use REST web services in addition to SAP and JDBC data. ERP data is displayed in CRM via the "360° view" widget (e.g. quotations, invoices, sales).

    • All access is via REST and API gateway.

    • There is a new setup page for the basic configuration of the systems, for example to compare selection lists or synchronize sales employees.

    • Addresses are synchronized with regard to similar data structures but different terms, and auxiliary master data is synchronized intelligently.

    • After the first export, the companies and contacts are immediately synchronized via web services.

    • The status display indicates whether an address has already been created as a customer in proALPHA ERP or not.

    • The Gedys CRM release 8.15 has been prepared for integration in Proalpha Home. Key figures from the CRM can be read out via REST API.

    With CRM Release 8.15 you can actively search for duplicates to clean up your data

    Duplicate checking and editing

    • When saving new and changed addresses, a duplicate check is automatically carried out in CRM.

    • If the software finds an existing entry for a company or contact that you want to create, this will be displayed in the duplicate widget next to your new entry as a possible duplicate.

    • New: Before you save your new entry in the CRM, you can decide

      • whether you want to compare the documents found with your new entry.

      • open the documents found.

      • click on the "No duplicate" button to save both addresses.

    • In the start menu, you can call up the new start page "Duplicate editing", compare duplicates found and merge them.

    • You can also start a duplicate check as a mass action on an existing address database.

    New functions in Web CRM

    • When displaying the folder structure in lists, the number of documents per category can now be displayed.

    • A link to the YouTube channel has been added to the "First steps" widget.

    • The "Last activity" field is automatically filled with the date of the last customer activity. This makes it easy to filter customers according to their last activities.

    • Service:

      • If emails are received for tickets, the tickets are displayed again in the ticket inbox for your attention. They can now also be removed from the inbox.

      • The ScoreCard widget and the Inbox widget in the service area now have a mechanism for automatic updating when changes are made.

    New functions in Business Mail

    • Business Mail 4 Web can now document several emails at the same time.

    • In Business Mail 4 Outlook on the web, you can now

      • document emails for other documents.

      • user settings for personal options can be made.

      • All documents can be inserted directly in the e-mail body as a link. (This feature can be switched on and off in the user settings).

    In Business Mail 4 Outlook ("Classic" Outlook client)

    • when documenting emails from the task list for a project, these emails are assigned directly to the project.

    • The address creation of a contact for a company that has already been found has been optimized.

    • The proxy can now also be specified in the pre-configuration.

    New functions in the CRM app

    • Create simple projects via the mobile CRM app.

    • You can now select and copycontent in the app's read mode.

    • There is now a function in the user profile for testing the device connection for push notifications. This is only accessible for users with the ExpandAdmin role.
