DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH optimized its sales processes with Gedys CRM

As a full-service company of the Deutsche Bahn Group, DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH is responsible for the planning, provision and maintenance of communication technology. It covers all areas of security, automation, information and telecommunications technology as well as print production and information logistics. 365 days a year, at 75 locations, with 2,000 technicians, planners and engineers. The company provides these services not only to Deutsche Bahn, but also to DB's external customers. For this reason, around 50 employees work in the sales team.
DB Kommunikationstechnik had recognized that the previous work with Excel and Word files had to be replaced. The decision was made to introduce CRM and Gerhard Pentz was appointed as the technical project manager. He had experience with CRM systems and know-how as a former sales manager, the best prerequisites for qualification as a CRM project manager.

Already convinced by Gedys Intraware from previous encounters, Mr. Pentz invited us to the pitch. In comparison with 8 other CRM systems - selected primarily on the basis of user test versions - Gedys CRM made it into the final selection with two other competitor systems.
In the subsequent workshop, our CRM ultimately impressed with its professional usability and system logic. The individual customer support provided by our competent sales manager also played a major role.
