    Field service becomes more transparent thanks to CRM

    For decades, Diessner GmbH & Co KG Berlin has had a recognized high level of expertise in the areas of emulsion paints, primers, decorative plasters and fillers as well as decorative systems for wall design and composite systems for thermal insulation. Mineral products were added to the range of professional products for further areas of application.

    The central task at Diessner was to increase transparency in sales force management with a new sales tool and to adapt it technically to the system of the parent company SAKRET in order to make cooperation even more effective.

    A key step in this process was the introduction of mobile devices for the sales force, who also need up-to-date information and contact details while on the move. This includes reading, editing and creating documents so that they can also work productively on business trips. This is essential in order to remain competitive.

    Diessner decided to introduce the Gedys CRM sales tool with Gedys Intraware partner VSB Solutions GmbH - to improve transparency in sales and collaboration with the parent company.

    Highlights

    • The web version is used in the office and the CRM app is used in the field. Thanks to the flexible architecture of the mobile CRM version, many applications can be integrated with little effort.
    • Mobile CRM offers many advantages for the field service, especially new flexibility such as access to all information at any time and from any location or optimized appointment coordination. Thanks to access control, individual employees can only access the data that is relevant to their work.
    • After an appointment, the field service can quickly and easily create visit reports and enter the current results of sales calls into the CRM app. The data is then immediately available to the back office.
    • This gives the sales team the option of providing comprehensive advice and presenting new products as well as adjusting prices or negotiating new conditions. The field sales team, on the other hand, can view evaluations of sales opportunities directly on site. This means that everyone can see how demand and orders have developed so that they can submit appropriate offers.
