Reference Kienle und Spiess
With the establishment of the Gedys CRM system, Kienle und Spiess ensured uniform workflows throughout the entire company across Europe

Kienle und Spiess was a partner for the production of highly efficient electric motors and generators. The company offered a wide range of products and services across all production processes: from splitting the electrical steel, punching the stator and rotor laminations, casting the rotors, constructing tools to gluing magnets into rotor pockets or pressing in shafts.
Characterized by innovation, a zero-defect corporate philosophy and highly flexible delivery, Kienle und Spiess has realized significant competitive advantages for its customers. Since its foundation in Sachsenheim in 1935, the company has developed into a group of companies with international success and further national and international locations. The company has now been part of the Feintool Group since 2022.
The approval of applications in the company was originally carried out using Excel forms, which were sent by internal mail and fax to the responsible approval offices. With this outdated method, it was not possible to fully track the respective applications. In addition, it was not possible to track the status of calculations or who had last changed or processed them - information that was crucial for a smooth and timely process.
Kienle und Spiess therefore decided to introduce the Gedys CRM software. The introduction of CRM made processes and applications transparent for everyone involved.
Highlights
- The complex structure for approving applications was controlled via Gedy's workflow. Depending on the type of application, it was determined which departments had to be passed through.
- Excel forms were integrated. Changes to these forms were automatically logged within applications.
- Processing persons were stored in the organization database with their job profiles to ensure simple assignment of applications (e.g. as “Controlling approver” or “Management”).
- Administrative users had the option of manually intervening in the workflow if both the respective responsible persons and any substitutes were not available and the application would therefore remain in one place for too long.
This individual solution enabled Kienle und Spiess to significantly optimize and digitalize the complex approval process for the various investment applications. This workflow guaranteed a standardized procedure - in Germany as well as in Hungary and the UK.
