The addition of the Gedys Project module has made it possible to respond more flexibly to customer requirements

Meemken Wurstwaren has been working intensively with the Gedys CRM software since 2017. The company not only develops products according to its own recipes, but also new recipes or products for customers and partners. Deliveries are made in individual sales and portion units by personal arrangement. In this way, Meemken gives customers the opportunity to react flexibly to constantly changing market requirements.
Meemken mainly offers regional meat and sausage specialties in northern Germany. The high-quality products are sold to both retailers and bulk consumers, including catering businesses, restaurants and pubs, as well as institutions such as hospitals.
The products are sold exclusively through the Meemken & Sandmann factory outlet. Meemken & Sandmann has EU approval as a cutting plant and as a production facility for meat products and preparations and relies on short distances as a prerequisite for the high quality of its products.
Meemken also addresses the wholesale trade with halal products. At the same time, the retail trade is addressed with many products from the wide range, including vegan sausage alternatives. For the resulting projects - often 10 to 15 projects are running simultaneously - the company requires a high degree of transparency regarding agreements and the status of projects.
The Gedys Project module optimizes Meemken's flexibility with regard to label and packaging requirements. The individual stages for carton, film and label design as well as production are mapped here.
Employees in every department can view the status of a project, whether from sales, development, marketing or project management. Project contains all information on layouts, prices or approvals from suppliers and producers - with all contact details, processes or agreements from Sales. Above all, this enables quick reactions to queries or changes.
Highlights
- Looking ahead, the company had already purchased sufficient licenses of the Gedys CRM suite for its expansion at the outset. This made it easy to add the Project module.
- All information relating to prospective buyers is stored centrally in the CRM system. This creates the necessary transparency and process speed throughout the company and is a prerequisite for connecting the new module.
- Like Meemken Wurstwaren, Meemken & Sandmann works intensively with the CRM software from Gedys Intraware.
- Both branches of the company use the CRM to transparently manage all contact data, processes and sales opportunities.
- Meemken & Sandmann's field service works with the CRM software on a mobile basis, which means that the back office is always well informed. As a result, customer satisfaction increases.
